It’s seen by many as a positive mainstreaming of the hijab into the fashion industry but is this a dangerous slippery slope? Fareena discusses the exciting topic of Muslim Fashion with a panel of experts, asking them whether hijab fashion industry has exploded in recent years and has it gone in a positive direction?

Shahida Rahman is an award-winning author, writer and publisher. One of her many works is on The Integration of the Hijab into Police Uniforms and she is currently writing her second novel.
Nabila Fowles-gutierrez is a midwife, activist and musician, was involved in the Prohijab campaign to raise awareness and support Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab and continues to campaign to end Islamophobia and working towards cultural, religious and political inclusion.
