In this episode Fareena Alam asks whether there is a Muslim vote in Britain and if so how influential is it?

He is the leader of the Labour council for Brent and spoke passionately about Muslims engaging and entering politics to influence change.
He is the Director of Jawaab, a grassroots campaigning organisation using creative methods to engage with Muslims and effect social change. Rizwan has been involved with a number of grassroots projects concerning Islam, Muslims in Europe and Pakistan.
A multi-award winning youth activist who has been involved with a number of local, national and international political initiatives and spoken on a number of platforms. Zain spoke of his experience as an activist and the challenges Muslims face when it comes to breaking into politics.
He is an active member of the Green Party and since the show has become the party’s development officer. Benali spoke of the importance of young people being involved in politics and also the scale of disillusionment with current mainstream parties.
