The debate extends to cover a wider issue such as nuclear-free Middle East. The documentary is one of the first that revealed the secret collaboration of some UK officials in a clandestine project during the 1960s for transferring the technology of making atomic bombs to Israel.

However, one of its industry’s most fascinating contradictions is that contrary to the perceived status of women in Iran, the number of female filmmakers, who produce exceptional works, is constantly increasing. Majid Khabazan is the co-director and co-producer of the film and it was made before Narcissi was set up.
